Listen, if you will, with your mind’s ear to the sound of Dick Dale teaming up with The Stooges to soundtrack 70’s Blacksploitation and porn flicks with a sideorder of garage psychedelia. If you can do this then you are somewhere near imagining what the world of Boe Weaver sounds like. It’s all scratchy, valve amplified guitars, surfy riffs, strange sci-fi sounds and a mighty funk, the like of which would turn Prince purple with envy.
