True Widow video for 'Skull Eyes' & album release date

Leading up to the release of their stunning new LP on May 02, True Widow have unveiled the music video for its lead track ‘Skull Eyes’.

Having recently signed to Kemado for this release, the band have already received an excellent reaction stateside from the likes of Pitchfork, Village Voice and Stereogum. Combining the slow-core of Low and Codeine, the Shoegaze textures of My Bloody Valentine and the heavier sounds associated with label mates The Sword and Xasthur, True Widow have forged a niche all of their own.

Architects Of Grace debut album "Moments In Time" digital release today

Architects Of Grace's debut album, 'Moments In Time', is available digitally today ahead of the physical release on May 30 2011. Written and recorded largely by Duncan Robert Illing, it demonstrates strength and substance, a soundtrack to a rollercoaster of experiences. The record also shows a determination to succeed totally independently. 'Moments In Time' is an accomplished debut and demands your ears.
While the album is mostly self-produced, Duncan was honoured to work with the legendary producer Dave M Allen (The Cure, Psychedelic Furs, The Chameleons, Sisters Of Mercy) on 'Oceans Of The Heart' and 'Tonight' and Phil English (Biffy Clyro) on the guitar assault of 'Hot White Sun'. These producers can now add Architects Of Grace to their impressive portfolio.

'Moments In Time' is released via Procession Recordings today (April 11). It is available via the Architects Of Grace official site for £8.99.

You can download 'Oceans Of The Heart' for free from the Architects Of Grace official site or watch the video below:

A Cheery Wave: New free post-rock compilation out now‏

The second instalment in Flies Are Spies From Hell's compilation series is out now - "A Cheery Wave From Stranded Youngsters: Volume Two" contains some of the very best bands involved in the underground UK post-rock/instrumental scene right now.

This peek into the murky fertile undergrowth includes a track from brand new Oxford supergroup Listing Ships, a completely unreleased and unheard song from The Rock Of Travolta, a Vessels B-Side, and track from Maybeshewill's "Sing The Word Hope" album. You Slut!'s math-mentalism, Leyaks' proggy psych-out, Bleaklow and Khuda's post-metal beasts, Orders Of The British Empire's huge epic and MinionTV's moment of peace further show how strong the scene has become. The album closes with a metallic Kasper Rosa monster - which even includes a guitar solo........

Tracklisting:
1. Listing Ships - Skipper's Daughter
2. The Rock Of Travolta - Super 8
3. Bleaklow - The Sunless Country
4. Khuda - Antaeus
5. Orders of the British Empire - When Machines Fall Silent
6. MinionTV - We Are Ghosts
7. You Slut! - On-The-Spot Tina Turner Fine
8. Vessels - Ornafives
9. Leyaks - Spanish Luftkanone
10. Maybeshewill - Co-Conspirators
11. Kasper Rosa - Coronal Mass Ejection

New Fight Like Apes video for 'Jenny Kelly'‏

Celebrating this week’s release of new single ‘Jenny Kelly’, Fight Like Apes have now unveiled the song’s cheesetastic music video.

In the spirit of rural cheese rolling events, the video sees the band mounting their BMX’s and taking up the chase of a giant cheese wheel. The song itself is classic Fight Like Apes, both sonically and lyrically off-kilter with a rousing and memorable chorus.
